adecco is currently assisting a diagnostic and outpatient imagining client, recruiting for mri technician position. 

the mri technician will partner closely with the director of radiology and will perform magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography procedures to produce images to assist physicians with a medical diagnosis, while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. 

responsibilities

greet, accept and prepare the patient for mri, ct and x-ray procedures

assess and document patient's conditions to determine proper handling and special requirements

check requisition for physician notes and/or special instructions

instruct and assist patients in assuming physical position for appropriate tests

administer contrast materials as needed

recognize and respond to hypersensitivity or allergic reactions

enforce mri/ct and radiation safety procedures

work closely with radiology manager and practice administrator

experience: 

2 years previous mri, ct or x-ray experience

arrt license or acr accreditation required
