adecco is currently assisting a diagnostic and outpatient imagining client, recruiting for nurse practitioner position. 

the nurse practitioner will provide primary health care services in medical imaging. the np will exercise autonomy in decision making in the role of a primary care health care provider with regard to patient assessment, patient management and in providing a broad range of diagnostic radiology and interventional services. the np will provide and coordinate the care of interventional radiology patients, providing patient/family education and promoting safe continuity of care.

responsibilities

gather, document and complete histories and physicals

determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures

assess and evaluate the physiologic and psychological responsiveness of each patient

participate in patient management, including prescriptive powers of acquisition of additional imaging procedures, therapeutic and diagnostic tests as required

administer and/or order intravenous medication and contrast media

experience: 

2 years experience as an np

graduate of approved nurse practitioner program

active unrestricted np license in nevada 

current bls nd acls certification

active unrestricted dea certificate
