Kitchen assistant/kp - united kingdom, west end, edinburgh
hi, we are looking for a permanent kitchen assistant to join our busy, small and friendly team. please note this position for a permanent basis or minimum 6 months contract.
the job will initially involve food preparation, assisting the chefs during service, dishwashing and all aspects of kitchen cleaning & hygiene.
there is plenty of scope for the right person, who has a genuine interest in good food, is quick to learn & interested in progressing further.
the ideal candidate will preferably have experience in a similar position in a busy kitchen in the past, excellent standards of cleanliness & safety awareness is also required.
the position will for full time. hours can be varied from 35 to 45 hours during busy periods like august, september or december.
