adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a 1st shift machine operator position in tucson, az pay rate of $15.00/hour! temp to hire. this state-of-the-art facility manufactures pvc insulated wire, nylon insulated wire, and cross-linked polyethylene insulated wire in either single or multi conductor constructions

operates an extruder and supporting equipment which insulates copper wire and packages the product.
reads production schedules to determine the gauge and type of wire to be insulated.
sets up insulating line to the proper settings for manufacturing a particular wire gauge.
perform products inspections.
verifies conformance to product specifications and accurately documents the results.
labels each spool, reel, or drum with correct wire tag.
assigns lot numbers to each package.
ensure equipment and work areas are kept clean and orderly
follow instructions and perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
high school diploma or general education degree (ged)
read and write basic english
ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
be willing and able to work up to 12-hour shifts.
(english and spanish)
previous production, manufacturing or machine operator experience.
shift available
1st shift (5:00am – 3pm)
