Executive assistant - united states, portland

we have a urgent need for an executive assistant to the sr vp to start asap. the position is for a duration of 4 months with the possibility of going permanent. the role pays $32-34 per hour, depending on experience. position is located on site in portland, or

responsibilities:

  • manage manager’s calendar
  • coordinate travel arrangements including flight arrangements, hotel and rental car arrangements for both domestic and international travel
  • screen incoming calls 
  • provide project coordination and administrative support
  • prepares reports for leadership 
  • process confidential and critical information on a routine basis with discretion
  • approve and create po’s 
  • performs clerical and administrative tasks
  • create high level and dynamic presentations (powerpoint), spreadsheets, etc. for the svp, construction.
  • education, training, and skills required:

  • associate degree - bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with project coordination or 5+ years of equivalent administrative experience – construction experience preferred.
  • intermediate to advanced skills with microsoft office (excel, word, powerpoint, visio and outlook)
  • excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
  • general understanding of construction projects
