Accounts payable assistant - united states, slavonski brod

adecco staffing is working with a company in avon, ma to bring on an assistant accounts payable processional in the office. this is a permanent role and benefits will be included.

hours: 7:30am-4:30 or 8:00am-5:00pm

pay: depends on experience – open on pay

 

job details:

reporting to the assistant controller, getting daily duties from the ap manager this person will have an outgoing personality and friendly demeanor making them perfect to reach out to vendors and our project management staff for data reconciliation.

responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

processing a high volume of a/p job and non-job costed invoices - reviewing for accuracy, assuring goods are received, reviewing for taxable items, verifying approvals are in place

communicating invoice discrepancies with vendors and project management

processing employee expense reimbursements and per diem requests

processing credit card requests

maintaining accurate vendor records in our custom job costing software

reconciling vendor accounts

participating in weekly check runs

seeking ideas for improvement in our a/p process

supporting the accounts payable manager with a variety of duties

qualifications/requirements:

high school degree and 2-5 years related experience, manufacturing/construction or similar industry a plus

automated a/p invoicing system experience – mediusflow with readsoft or similar would be helpful

high aptitude for numbers

super organized and highly flexible with ability to shift from processing invoices to addressing vendor issues with ease

excellent sense of humor and ability to get along with all personalities

strong verbal and written communication skills are a must

basic experience with microsoft excel
