adecco is currently assisting a diagnostic and outpatient imagining client, recruiting for ultrasound technician position. 

the ultrasound technician will partner closely with the director of radiology and will perform magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography procedures to produce images to assist physicians with a medical diagnosis, while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. 

responsibilities

greet, accept and prepare the patient for ultrasound procedures

assess and document patient's conditions to determine proper handling and special requirements

check requisition for physician notes and/or special instructions

instruct and assist patients in assuming physical position for appropriate tests

adhere to procedure protocols

execute high quality procedures as ordered by referring physicians

enforce ultrasound safety procedures to provide a safe environment for patients and staff

maintain ultrasound equipment/room in proper working condition

experience: 

2 years previous experience

ardms and rvt for ultrasound credentialing or be registry eligible
