adecco is working with a successful manufacturer recruiting a quality engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

this will be a site-based position, close to newton abbot and will focus on working with all areas of the manufacturing team to review existing processes, implementing new ideas to the site and contribute to improvements of the qms.

upcoming projects include:

supporting the implementation of a 9001 compliant qms (soon to be iso 13485 compliant)

review existing manufacturing processes (non-conforming materials, sop creation, scrap reporting, visual management) and make necessary improvements.

investigating and reporting customer, internal & supplier quality issues.

produce fmeas, risk management plans and risk management reports.

run audit schedules being a key member of the internal audit team.

support continuous improvement teams in the creation of new product production lines and the improvement of existing product production lines.

to be considered for this role the company asks for the following:

experience working in a manufacturing environment (either 9001 or 13485 compliant)

internal auditing qualified (minimum iso 9001)

proven experience in liaising with suppliers on complaints.

appreciation of how to use fmeas.

prior knowledge of problem-solving techniques. (8d, 5 whys, ishikawa etc.)
