we have opportunities available to work for one of the uk's largest engineering companies based near halstead, essex.
they are growing their team and are looking for mechanical fitters to work within a group of 3 or 4 people to help build large units to transport goods across the country.
you will be required to fit mechanical hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics and brake systems for car transporters.
requirements:
good spanner skills and knowledge of spanner sizes
basic electrical knowledge
knowledge of pneumatics
knowledge of hydraulics
a keen eye for quality
previous experience with overhead crane usage would be an advantage
ability to work well as part of a team
hours 07:30-16:00 mon-fri. 40hr week.
this will become permanent following a successful trial period of 16 weeks.
