daily head gardener sought for role in stroud, gloucestershire for a lovely highly recommended return client of staff of distinction. the stunning property consists of 11 acres of grounds and would suit a candidate looking for a long term role. you will be responsible for all general gardening duties including lawn care, mowing/strimming, maintaining flowerbeds and vegetables, liaising with suppliers and using and maintaining machinery. as head gardener you will be in charge of the gardens so landscape and plant knowledge is essential. you must hold a qualification and a chainsaw license and be pet friendly as the family have a dog and goats. the chosen candidate will have a muck in attitude and be happy running errands when needed. there is another gardener employed so a team player with the ability to give instruction is required. working hours monday-friday, 8am-4pm and during the winter 8am – 3pm. role to commence asap with handover from current head gardener. salary negotiable on experience.
