the main responsibilities for this position are:-

to be the first point of contact for site security function related queries, responsible for managing the resolution of more complex security issues and escalating when required to the security management team or our customer's security department.management and development of direct reporting personnel.ensure all security personnel has undertaken the appropriate vetting, security clearance and training and that security personnel have been issued with an sia licence or ldn to meet industry requirements and a database is managed to ensure that all licences are monitored for renewal.to rigorously review and promote health and safety on site.accurate rostering of all officers ensuring sufficient cover for holidays, sickness, and absences, ensuring 100% compliance to contractual hoursall security personnel is contacted and reviewed/coached as required at least once a month in order to proactively monitor performance and maintain positive employee relations.to maintain communication via informal, newsletters, formal signed briefings, and toolkit talks.employee relations issues dealt with promptly and consistently using the company's disciplinary and grievance procedures, and other relevant policies and guidelines.actively encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for awards.assignment instructions, databases, and site documentation are current, in date, and the management of risk through effective risk assessments.all incidents are reported in compliance with the customer's policy and procedure.planning, developing, and implementing a strategy for personnel training, including routine duties and emergency procedures.management of special assignments, ensuring that agreed security procedures are adhered to and the security team maintains the highest professional standards at all times.monitor faults with security-related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly and repaired within agreed timescales.the security manager will ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, premises, and property whilst maintaining and adding to the overall experience of the customer.
