adecco is seeking welding forklift associates at whirlpool in fall river, ma. review the following employment opportunity and apply today. associates do essential jobs with one of our premier clients in a state-of-the-art facility, with rates starting at $16.50/hr., plus available overtime. this role will provide material support in the welding department by utilizing a forklift to move parts.

job duties (other duties may be assigned):

maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing bundles of steel in stock; recording location of inventory.

locates steel by using micrometers and steel guides, verifying gauge and steel type

keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory

handling returns by completing a safe assessment and other required communication.

receives all documentation from steel deliveries.

maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; and notifying maintenance with any issues.

 

required qualifications

high school diploma/ged

at least 18 years old

possess basic knowledge of world class logistics and division material flow

previous forklift experience

strong attention to detail

ability to stand for extended periods of time

ability to routinely lift 40+ pounds or more

strong analytical skills

ability to work independently and in a team environment

effective communication skills

basic computer skills are required to be successful in this position
