the medicare eligibility representative requires a strong focus around accurate and timely customer support to ensure member enrollment and retention.

 

primary responsibilities include:

processing enrollment of medicare members including first-time enrollment and member modifications

manage work activities in your work queue (missing information, date changes)

research applications and update with actions/outcomes

outbound enrollment verification calls

meet monthly established quality and productivity goals on a consistent basis

 

experience required:

understand of center for medicare/medicaid services (cms) guidelines for medicare part d and c

previous work experience in enrollment processes in a regulatory environment

understanding of basic healthcare terminology and definitions, such as pipaa

intermediate ms excel, word and outlook

ability to create and update excel spreadsheets

 

education:

high school diploma or ged equivalent – required

work schedule:

training hours: 8am to 4:30pm – must reside in either eastern, central, or mountain time zones
