Caretaker / domestic couple - united kingdom, horsham, west sussex
seeking a couple to be resident caretakers at a country estate between horsham and petworth. accommodation provided in separate cottage on the grounds. responsibilities and work include:
1) maintaining the formal gardens (mowing lawns, cutting hedges, pruning, blowing leafs, looking after flower beds), driveways and paddocks. some fence / gates maintenance, mowing around paddocks with a tractor etc
2) coordinating and scheduling services and tradesmen from time to time
3) looking after 5 horses with daily feeding, mucking stalls and turning out. riding experience a plus. occasional dog sitting when owners are travelling. must be good with animals and have experience.
4) helping with domestic support during large family gatherings, groceries, laundry etc.
looking for a trustworthy and hard working couple who are solutions oriented, self starters and good with animals.
compensation commensurate with experience and at least 1 year commitment required from applicants, ideally longer
