the position – delivery driver

who are we?:

an artisan bakery and production kitchen based in hove, producing high quality bread, baked goods for our retail shops. we also have a wholesale division to our company and deliver twice daily, seven days per week in and around brighton

who we are looking for:

someone who is reliable and punctual, well presented and possesses good communication skills. an excellent level of english is a pre-requisite for this position


someone who is a considerate driver and can offer great customer service by delivering products to customers in a timely and professional manner

you will be a team player and be always proactive in helping the kitchen management team out at any given time during your working day

what you will do:

collect supplies from various outlets in and around brighton
oversee the packing of the vans prior to delivery adhering strictly to customer orders
driving and delivering in and around brighton and sussex

days and hours of work:

we are offering a part time position. final days will be decided when the applications come in, but flexibility is important to us.

your hours will be starting at 5.15 am and finishing time is to be discussed at the interview. we are offering around 24 hours per week.

you will be expected to work weekends and early starts

applicants must meet the following criteria:

be aged 26 years of age or older (for fleet insurance purposes)
hold a valid full uk driving license
have no more than three current penalty points on their driving license.
must not have a current drunk driving conviction.
due to the early starts you need to get to work under your own initiative
the business is based in portslade, you must be local
