due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a new site environmental engineer. this role will report directly into the managing director.
job description
- responsible for site maintenance and compliance of environmental regulations and liaison with associated governing bodies: e.a, fire service, skdc and gas & electricity providers.
- host visits / audits / inspections.
- liaise with insurance providers.
- maintain site security - cctv, intruder alarms, monitoring contracts and maintenance visits.
- out of hours contact for fire and security.
- liaise with ea, compile quarterly waste returns. coordinate / arrange for waste collections together with associated waste transfer and consignment documentation.
- liaise with the local council.
- liaise with stakeholders / interested parties over environmental issues e.g., noise, odours, drainage.
- maintain site fire plan.
- cotc holder - certificate of technical competence (wamitab)
- produce site plans using cad.
- manage site civil projects.
- management of buildings and site general maintenance.
