the overhead crane engineer role is challenging and varied position.

responsibilities:

- you'll be carrying out statutory examination, maintenance and repair of clients overhead, gantry and jib cranes across all industries and manufacturers

- root cause fault finding on client breakdowns, before supplying information to the office support team for quoting.

- completing electrical and mechanical repairs as per requirements

- submitting high quality paperwork covering a thorough analysis of completed works.

- working as part of their install team on bespoke crane and gantry solutions

skills & experience:

- experience in overhead crane service, installation and repair is essential for the role.

- they are seeking a candidate with an electrical bias (including a relevant qualification) but also a strong mechanical understanding.

- must be flexible in approach to working hours due to industry requirements

- you will be professional, personable and take pride in your work.

salary & benefits:

- up to £36400 basic depending on skills and experience, plus call out and extensive overtime opportunities

- peoples pension contribution

based from their gateshead or stockton office, you will work remotely on clients site throughout the week. returning to the office to submit paperwork and collect parts.
