mission statement:
interfaces directly with project management, manufacturing, and logistics to coordinate all outbound project shipments for the robotics us team. this includes preparing documentation, developing load plans, overseeing load preparation, troubleshooting, and providing necessary documentation by shipment to the customer. uses pcs and software programs to perform duties and documents for domestic and export shipments. be able to process all outgoing material using sap and other shipping software. moves material safely using various material-handling equipment. works with supervisor to identify and solve problems. coordinates with internal personnel and external contacts as required.

main accountabilities:
1. coordinates shipment of material, checks for damage, verifies quantities, and distributes material to various carriers as required. contacts internal personnel to resolve discrepancies.
2. develops all necessary customer required documentation for shipment including but not limited to authorization to ship, unpacking/unloading/rigging instructions, pictures, etc.
3. pulls and packages material for shipment from all areas within the facility. organizes and labels material as
required.
4. supports other logistics operations as needed, performing receiving / packing activities including, but not limited to, marking with labels, stamps, attaching export documents, and other general documentation as
required by order.
5. assist in the creation of international documentation needed for export shipments
6. develop and maintain a working knowledge of us customs regulations, nafta and free trade agreements to maintain compliance with federal regulations
7. classify products as needed with respect to the commerce control list, harmonized tariff schedule and other relevant regulations
8. uses various materials handling equipment to safely move materials within the facility and parking lot. typical handling equipment includes, but is not limited to, fork-trucks, hoists, pallet-jacks, cranes and carts. determines proper equipment based on material to be moved, and route to be travelled.
9. uses hand and power tools to perform various aspects of job function, including but not limited to, power saws, staplers, and nail guns.
10. operate various pcs and software packages including, but not limited to, the erp system (sap), and the
office software system (microsoft office). responsible for accurate data entry and processing, as per procedure order, or other requirement.
11. maintains files and records for shipping as required.
12. advises supervisor of issues or potential problems.
13. perform miscellaneous duties within the scope of job-know how.
14. knowledge of ford k1/k2 ford shipping requirements for packaging up shipments.
15. able to receive goods and process through sap, then put away in assigned location designated through the software. scan gun use will be required for this task
16. coordinate the receipt of customer supplied materials with project managers via phone calls or emails
17. strong working knowledge and experience in logistics, and inventory compliance polices and audit procedures
18. ability to multitask on various duties at once. strong communication skills required.
19. drive high standards for safety and housekeeping and assure compliance with all state and local laws and regulations.
20. strong working knowledge and experience in receiving, hazardous materials, and inventory compliance policies
