the new inn is a country pub nestled in the village of upper seagry. following the recent acquisition, we are looking to build a team to take on this new venture with us. we are looking to continue to produce home cooked food in a traditional english pub.
we are looking to add to our team a chef cook to join us.
what’s the purpose of the job?
creating an amazing, best-in-class and profitable menu, whilst making our customers feel great by cooking and serving our vision of great food.
keeping our kitchen clean and well presented at all times
knowing food hygiene and health & safety standards and making sure the team and you are safe at all times.
managing and training any kitchen staff working with you
ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety. 5 stars hygiene expectation
monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
what qualifications, skills and experience do i need?
advanced food hygiene desirable
a genuine passion for food
strong listening and collaboration skills
team player & leader
great cooking skills
