full time, permanent

£9.50 per hour, rising to £9.85 per hour within first year

daytime shifts, monday to friday

42.5 hours/week to be worked between 5.30am – 4.15pm

founded over 50 years ago, jk thomson is scotland’s premier seafood family. from all the major scottish ports, we source the freshest fish available on a daily basis. this is transported to our factory directly after purchase ensuring that the fish arrive in the best possible condition for processing.

over the last few years, we have invested heavily in our premises here in musselburgh, extending and developing to what is now one of the largest and most modern seafood processing plants in the country.

about the role

we are looking for production operatives to assist with the preparation and packaging of fish.

experience would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

you will have the opportunity to acquire complete knowledge of our products and the practical skills required in their preparation and packaging.

this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills. skilled candidates will be able to progress as a key operative, through to supervisor and management level.
