Experienced housekeeper wanted for lovely family home in the cotswolds - united kingdom, chipping norton, oxfordshire

our client is seeking a highly experienced, personable individual to attend their cotswolds property while they’re in residence. your duties will include:

- maintaining the cleanliness of the home to the highest possible standard, both indoor and around the property.

- deal with all manner of laundry, from indoor linens to delicate items. (prior experience is a must.)

- cooking healthy meals for the family while they attend the property.

- organise menus and meal plans for the family.

- be responsible for front of house duties, such as attending to guests when the client family isn’t in residence.

- handle driving duties for the family as needed.

while no childcare is needed for the role, our client does have 3 children so prior experience (even with just your own children) is a must for this position, as well as a friendly, approachable demeanour.

you must be able to drive and have a clean license.

time flexibility is a must for this position, as the client family is in residence for 3 weekends a month and so any applicant must be happy to work weekends. whilst the family isn’t in residence, you will attend to the property during the week (with general hours being 8:00am – 5:00pm) regardless and will have 2 days off during the week with those days being subject to change depending on the family schedule. applicants will also occasionally be asked to attend the family’s property in london as well accompanying the family abroad as requested.

your salary will be £45,000 per year, with an additional petrol allowance. you’ll also be provided 28 days paid holiday a year.
