are you passionate about selling online? sustainability? raising money for a fantastic cause? we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our charity ebay team. dealing with a wonderful array of preloved and new items from designer & vintage fashion to antiques & collectables and everything in between. all hand-picked from donations to our shops, so you never know what treasure will be unearthed.

helen & douglas house is growing its ecommerce department and is now looking for an online sales assistant to take responsibility for the day-to-day creation and processing of ebay sales. supporting the business to maximise online revenue. this is a permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) role, and in return for your work we can offer you a competitive salary of £19,430 - £21,589 per annum.

this role requires excellent computer and communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. the post holder will be mainly focused on product listings, driving sales to achieve monthly sales targets and platform growth. and maintaining our high levels of customer service and seller metrics.

attitude is key, experience aside, we need a proactive person who thrives on challenge, who loves working with people and is willing to turn their hand to anything to drive forward our online business.

skills we are looking for:

- good knowledge of computers including use of microsoft office.

- experience of online selling.

- ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral.

- ability to set and achieve operational goals.

- provide high levels of professional customer service.

- have a ‘can do’ attitude and good interpersonal skills.

- be self-motivated and able to motivate others.

- experience of working with volunteers is desirable.
