job description
we are currently recruiting for a paint sprayer / prepper to start for a well established bodyshop in white roding, dunmow. working on a variety of vehicles to a high standard, all paint spray technicians will be responsible for ensuring work is carried out to a very high standard and completed to deadline times. we are open to applicants of varying skill set. but an absolute must is a desire to learn, high attention to detail and motived individuals only need apply.
you will carry out preparation, local paintwork, light filling repairs and cosmetic refurbishment on a range of vehicles and loose panels. with the option to learn carbon fibre and fibreglass repairs / modification.
we are a family owned and operated business with some exciting projects planned, and we are looking for people that take pride in the work they carry out, and wish to grow with the company.
key responsibilities:
efficiently and effectively undertake painting and prepping on motor vehicles
work safely and responsibly
prepare panels to an exceptionally high standard
time management and work schedule priority
relevant qualifications are preferred, but not essential if you have the skills and experience or the desire to learn.
skills and experience:
experience as a prepper / painter preferred
background in an automotive environment
full uk drivers licence is a must due to limited public transport links
excellent communication skills
must be able to work as part of team
positive attitude with a passion for cars
high quality of work and always looking at ways to improve

the roles available are self employed, with an option for paye at a later date for suitable candidates.
suitable candidates will be subject to a five day paid trial.
