we have an exciting opportunity for a chef de partie to work as part of the kitchen brigade in this beautiful school, serving both day and boarding pupils. your main focus will be to assist in the preparation and service of food for pupils and staff, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.

our client is an independent school, set in 1200 acres of countryside on the border of hampshire and surrey, between farnham and basingstoke. the school provides an inspiring learning environment for both boarding and day pupils and boasts a state-of-the-art kitchen following a multi-million-pound refurbishment.

the perks

the chef de partie will receive:

a competitive salary of up to £25,700term time hours (36 weeks per year) - 42.5 paid hours per week, 5 days out of 7, occasional weekends (8 per year, days off in lieu). shifts either 6.00am to 3.00pm or 10.30am to 7.30pmsummer hours of work (6 weeks) - 37.5 paid hours per week, shift basis, 5 days out of 7, will include some weekends. shifts either 6.00am to 2.00pm, 10am to 6.00pm or 12 noon to 8pm.free meals on dutygreat progression opportunities contributory pension schemefee remission for children attending the schoolcomplimentary lunch during term timeuse of wide-ranging school facilities including swimming pool, tennis, walks, trails etc and excellent social and sporting events for stafffree car parking on sitethe person

the chef de partie will have:
