Kind nanny for two active boys ages 2 & 4 starting asap - 40-45 hours per week - united kingdom, maida vale, london

we are looking for a kind-hearted, easy-going nanny to help care for two gorgeous active little boys ages 2.5 and 4 years old. they are also expecting a baby at the end of october, but they don’t expect the nanny to have sole charge of the baby straight away and the nanny does not need to have previous new-born experience. the mum is very hands on yet busy and the role will be more focussed on the boys and keeping them positively active and engaged as well as caring for all their needs.

they would like to find someone who can fit into their family and someone the kids will love. what matters most is you have a genuine love of children, you are kind, flexible, fun, intelligent with excellent judgment (on safety etc) and proactive.

duties will include nursery and school pick-ups, supervising play dates, taking kids to activities, and playing, going outdoors, and having fun with them.

a spanish speaker is a bonus as the dad speaks spanish, but you also need to speak a fluent level of english.

location: maida vale, w9

start: asap

days: monday to friday

hours: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (40-45 hours per week)

pay: £18-20.5 gross per hour depending on experience and fit

experience: minimum of 6 years nannying experience babies, toddlers, and school age. you need to be able to support with weaning, toilet training and managing the routines for the children. experience with working with and developing young children with an interest in cooking fresh healthy meals is a bonus and happy to take initiative and be organised to take charge of all nursery duties. willing to babysit would also be a bonus. you need to be confident to care for 2 children on a sole and shared care capacity and be able to manage their daily routine and take initiative. you need to have fluent english and it is a bonus if you are a spanish speaker.

duties:

• preparing and cooking the children’s meals

• taking the children to and from nursery/school/activities/playdates

• support with the children’s daily routine and work in a team with the mum

• prepare children’s clothes for the day ahead and keep their toys and clothes tidy

• stimulate the children’s social development through conversation and play

• help if needed occasionally on weekends, especially when the baby is due and once the baby arrives to give the parents some extra support
