looking to start a new career with a booming distributor in arden, nc? our client is looking for serious minded candidates, looking to join the team on a permanent basis as they offer plenty of room for growth! 

starting salary: $20.00 per hour

working hours: must be flexible to work during the hours of 7am - 6pm, monday-friday. 

candidates must be flexible as shift starting and end time fluctuate dependent upon incoming orders. will be working 40 hours plus additional overtime as needs come. will be advised before the end of shift for next day's start time.   

 job summary (primary function)

to receive and store goods from fulfillment operations and vendors, and to ship outgoing products to customers. 

job responsibilities (essential functions)

receives components from fulfillment operations, affixes appropriate label, and stores components in racks.

selects, moves and stages materials for assembly or shipment.

loads and unloads trucks in a safe and efficient manner using forklift, hand truck, or pallet jack. 

checks all incoming shipments to verify quantity received and inspects for damage.

generates shipping and receiving reports.

assists with physical inventory counts.

performs daily equipment inspections.

performs all duties in a safe manner in accordance with company safety policies and regulations.

uses inventory management systems (windows based).

maintains regular and reliable attendance.

** flexible and willing to alter schedule as requested to meet department demands. this may include overtime, weekends or daily adjustments to schedule. **
