a lovely family in harpenden, hertfordshire is looking for a nanny to help in a live-in capacity. the nanny will be responsible for caring for two school-aged children with the help of tutors for them. the family is looking for an experienced, patient, organised, caring, fun and confident nanny, with a muck-in attitude. this will be the sole charge of care for both of their children. the nanny will be responsible for all childcare-related duties, cooking simple family meals and light housekeeping related to children. a driver who has a full driving license is a must for this role and a car can be provided. they have another housekeeper so a candidate must feel comfortable working alongside them and there would be no deep cleaning required.
working hours: monday to friday, 6:35 am to 6:45 pm and two nights of babysitting.
accommodation: self-contained bungalow with two bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom and living room.
duties include:
tidying up
supervising the children
doing arts and crafts
reading books
assisting with homework
taking children to parks and playgrounds
organising sports and other motor-skills activities
taking children on special outings to museums and the zoo
doing children's laundry
making children's beds
tidying up children's rooms and bathrooms
organising and cleaning children's play area
loading, running and emptying the dishwasher
a nanny to help in live in capacity must have a valid first aid qualification. they are looking for someone to hire as soon as possible.
