after attending a 2-day induction:

you will predominately be working at the same site, reporting to our client and at the start of each shift and the deputy branch manager, establishing your team and priorities for the day. amongst your team, you will be ensuring health and safety are always adhered to. effective communication via radio/phone/tablets, along with escorting contractors and accounting for any equipment.

your working environment may be outdoors or indoors, always using your discretion and collaborating with your work colleagues.

42.5 hours per week enhanced vetting will be requiredopportunities for overtime where desired.final stage interviews will take place locally.how you will make an impact in this role:

carrying out all duties assigned in a safe manner, observing all statutory regulations and any local regulations that may be in force.ensuring that all contractors and their tools are accounted for and managed safely and securely at all times whilst within the establishment, including when they leave, in accordance with written instructions, standard operating procedures, assignment instructions and as per local induction training and processes.guarantee that all paperwork is handed to relevant people.check for good housekeeping, that the work area is left in a clean, tidy, safe & secure manner at all times.must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, both in writing and orally (including good telephone manner) and ability to use communication devicesflexible and proactive with a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement to working approach.ability to self-motivate.responsible for the external areas of the work zone, to carry out regular inspections to ensure they are kept free from litter and are clean and presentable.the ability to work independently and as part of a team.essential skillsright to work in the uk & 5 year checkable historysia licencecustomer focused with excellent communication skills- both written and oral.computer literateno current criminal convictionsa full uk driving licence and own transportabout companyintegrity, vigilance, and helpfulness are the core values that securitas is built on to shape a long-term, financially successful enterprise for our customers, employees, and shareholders.
