we aren't looking for just any salesperson, we want someone who really loves sales. someone who gets excited about targets and achieving them. someone who understands how to grow and develop existing accounts and understands how to win new business. someone with an excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn.

as key account manager, you will be responsible for over £1m of revenue, a majority of this will come from growing existing accounts. the role will involve face to face meetings with customers so you will need experience, and enjoy running, meetings with prospects and customers. this role is critical to our vision and a terrific opportunity for someone who is forward thinking and eager to learn.

experience we're looking for:

- 2+ years sales experience in a manufacturing 'solutions or bespoke' b2b role

- experience growing and developing key customer accounts

- track record of achieving revenue, gp and kpi targets

- experience using a crm/erp system to manage and track sales opportunities and effectively account manage

- experience compiling, presenting, and securing quotations

skills you'll need:

- face to face selling experience - proven ability to run effective customer meetings

- a brilliant telephone manner

- strong sales skills and sales structure (rapport building, questioning, matching, objection handling and closing)

- ability to grasp technical information quickly and be comfortable discussing dimensions, material properties, product applications etc.

- excellent relationship builder

- good numerical skills
