archie's is a buzzy neighborhood cafe, bar and event space in archway. we serve up killer coffee, brunch and lunch seven days a week. our passion for food, design and music is reflected in our seasonal, quality ingredients; colourful, plant-filled interiors and lovingly-curated playlists. we are popular with local customers and have been nominated for 'london's favourite cafe' in the time out love local awards 2021.
we are an independent café, bar and bistro of 50 covers in north london in our 4th year and looking to open our second site in 2023. we're looking for an energetic, competent and engaged manager, who knows their way around a bar and floor service to lead our team and help us grow. for the right candidate, there is potential for growth, as we look to open a new site next in 2023 and will require a site manager / gm.
our manager will be responsible for creating a fun atmosphere - organising staff parties and staff for events as well the 7-day food and beverage service of our restaurant. this manager will be in charge of efficiency, customer care and weekend operations.

what we are looking for:
- management experience in a similar hospitality role (minimum 18 months)
- barista experience
- good computer software skills. knowledge of excel, reservations software and rota management
- excellent communication skills
- strong leader and team player
- an appreciation or at the very least an interest in the commercial running of an f&b business
- excellent customer service skills
- knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety
some software skills are preferred
