Hybrid medical collections - united states, concordia research station

adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a hybrid medical collections position in concord, ca.

 

pay: $27.00/hr

length: 3+ months

shift: monday – friday 7-8am – 3:30-4:30pm

remote with minimum of 1 day a week in the office

 

responsibility

this position will be responsible to follow-up on outstanding insurance accounts by payors portals, phone calls, or email/chat, until the account is resolved

this position also will manage all denial appeals and underpayments of accounts assigned to them

additional responsibilities include, reviewing daily correspondence, identify payor issues/trends and report to management, identify system error that are impacting work flows and report to management

required qualifications

looking for someone with very strong hospital collection/follow-up background in government and commercial payors

have knowledge of hospital billing regulations of government accounts (medicare & medi-cal), as well as knowledge and experience in commercial managed care contract rates and language interpretation

additionally, looking for someone with epic experience, specific to hospital billing/follow-up resolute

good analytical skills, good communication skills and a team player

phone calls, or email/chat, until the account is resolved

no certification is required for this position, but a minimum of 2 years’ experience in follow-up in hospital setting
