2nd shift motor assembler

adecco is assisting an international manufacturer in recruiting for a current motor assembler opening in blacksburg, va. this is for a contract-to-hire opportunity. in this position you will primarily be working on a production line assembling motor components for commercial vehicles.this is entry level, with training provided on the job. click apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

responsibilities for this job includes, but are not limited to:

· read and understand blueprints, drawings, and operation sheets

· use hand and machine operations to prepare parts and subassemblies

· assemble different types of motors

· perform small precision assembly and assembly of large units as required

· fabricate or form parts, coils, or structures according to specifications

· use drills, calipers, cutters, and saws

· mark serial identification and maintain traceability record

qualifications:

high school diploma or equivalent

able to stand on feet for 10+ hours a day

must be available on saturdays for overtime as needed

pay for this position is $14.90 per hour. monday-friday, 3:30pm - 2am (varies on fridays), must be able to work over time on saturdays as needed. training for this position will be done on 1st shift (5am - 3:30pm)
