what you'll be doing

as a production operative, you will be working on the production line, ensuring products are manufactured to customer specification. a degree of flexibility will be required as there will be the potential to work in other departments based on the needs of the business. you will be responsible for:

ensuring that the quality and weight of ingredients are right for each product.

comply with all standard operating procedures to ensure customer orders are produced safely, on time, and all aspects of hygiene, quality and cost are met.

ensure good manufacturing practice.

support our food safety culture.

reporting any issues to your team leader.

what we re looking for

for this role, you will need the following skills:

good literacy and numeracy skills

problem solving skills

good communicator and ability to work in a team

experience working within a food manufacturer preferred

allergen awareness

l2 food safety is preferred but not essential

we have both days & night shifts available, the shift patterns are as follows:

days - 4on4off 7am-7pm (12 hour shifts)

nights - monday to friday 7pm-3am (8 hour shifts)
