Personal assistant in leith - united kingdom, leith, edinburgh

i’m a 29 year old woman with a chronic illness looking for a personal assistant. duties will include but are not limited to vegetarian cooking, shopping, household tasks, taking me to appointments and trips out. i have a pleasant home environment. i love the outdoors and would like a personal assistant who could facilitate accessible outdoor activities, from visiting scotland’s woodlands, to helping on foraging and birdwatching trips. no intimate personal care required. driving license preferred.

i’m looking for someone to work 6- 8hours a week, split into two shifts. the rate of pay will be £10.92 per hour. the times of work are negotiable and will be worked out with employer/employee

due to the nature of the job, how we get along is more important than formal qualifications.

the job involves assisting me with a variety of tasks. like most people, my day varies so it is difficult to list every task that is expected of a personal assistant. it is vital that an employee has good communication and listening skills.

after a period of familiarisation with the duties, you will be required to work without supervision. the post holder will therefore need to be able to work on their own initiative whilst at the same time be respectful of my wishes.
