job description

as a recruitment specialist at calico, you will work closely with hiring managers across the group offering support, expert advice and practical solutions to help them with their recruitment needs.

this is a relatively new role to our department which presents an opportunity for the post-holder to make an immediate impact whilst shaping the future direction of the recruitment offer and service delivery. with recruitment also being a key business priority now and for the foreseeable, there is a real opportunity here for the right candidate to add value and deliver tangible results.

in this role you will be advising and building partnerships with managers, brokering and managing relationships with recruitment agencies and job boards. you will collaborate with hrbps and media & comms to create attractive recruitment campaigns, proactively searching for great candidates, supporting managers to develop robust recruitment and selection methods, crafting and posting job adverts.

we re looking for someone who is a confident and engaging with a customer focused, can-do approach. an ability to self-motivate and a desire to deliver results and add value for your customers will be important. we are looking for a dynamic individual who is comfortable in a varied role - creating job postings and managing the systems side of recruitment processes whilst also being able to see the bigger picture, work to longer term goals and be visible to your customer base.

you will be based at calico head office in burnley with travel to sites across the north-west expected. we operate a hybrid working model with flexibility for remote working up to 2 days per week.

your hours of work would be 36.25 hours per week, monday - friday with a requirement to be flexible in line with the business needs.

the salary for this role is circa gbp29,000 per annum dependant on experience.
