support work – flexible part-time cover job available
seeking an energetic, positive and caring individual to work one-to-one with a 32-year-old man with learning differences. ad is a happy, sociable person who leads a very active lifestyle and is engaged with local dance, drama and music community groups. he loves musical theatre, day trips, going to the gym, swimming pool and karaoke. the work will involve assisting ad to access his day-to-day activities, helping with meal preparation, ensuring he takes his medication, maintaining household chores, visiting appointments and enabling ad to access all the groups he loves to go to.
the work is flexible and part-time, so might suit a student, but also may fit around other part-time work or those engaged in freelance projects. at the moment, this would be occasional cover, but once you have got to know ad, there would be a possibility of more regular hours. previous experience in care/support work is preferred, but if you have the right attitude, willingness to learn and interests in common with ad, please apply.
drivers with an available vehicle would be preferred but not essential. no smoking/vaping allowed when with ad.
