van leeuwen specialist in steel pipes and tube and the company serves its worldwide customer base via an international network of forty branches in europe, the middle east, asia, australia, and america. continued success has allowed us to invest heavily in our distribution network by opening new offices, building new warehouses and expanding existing ones.

we are now looking for warehouse operatives to support their multifaceted distribution operation.

it would be beneficial (but not essential) if candidates had warehouse or manufacturing experience and an flt, counterbalance or overhead crane licence.

the key roles and responsibilities for this job are:

working as part of the operations team to process customer orders through the warehouse.
management of stock and raw materials
processing products on the cutting machines and other processes.
packing finished/ semi-finished goods and loading shipments.
processing orders
loading and unloading lorries using fork trucks, side loaders, cranes
ensuring health and safety requirements are met at all times.

working hours and salary details:

monday to thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm fridays: 7:00am – 3:30pm

pay rate is £10.45 per hour, with overtime available.
