our client is looking for a talented senior software engineer to join their software development team.

work from home with 2 days per month at london office

salary starting from £60,000 per annum dependent on experience

about the role:

they currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified software engineer to join their software development team. this is a senior position within a busy but rewarding development environment. you will play a vital role as a part of a dedicated and highly skilled team.

you will participate in problem solving, design decisions and software architecture from day one and, as a senior team member, be involved in direct customer interaction and requirements gathering.

the client supports remote working, however you will be required to attend occasional meetings at the london office (around twice per month) so it is essential you are able to travel into the city when required.

about you:

significant experience is expected across a wide range of skills, languages, and development methodologies and you will be expected to quickly adapt to the business stack.

it is essential you have demonstrable knowledge of either/both c++ and java.

knowledge of the following would also be an advantage:

.net c#, visual studio mysql c

key competencies and qualifications

bachelor's degree or higher (work experience can compensate for education) senior programming skills. good skills in modern web technologies fluent written and oral skills in english
