you will play your part in making the races/events a fantastic experience for all that attend.

as an event steward you could be working in different locations on site and will be on your feet.

you will be showing racegoers where to go, checking tickets upon entry, monitoring the crowd, and managing the car parking facilities as well as responding to incidents and notifying security when necessary.

you will need to be an energetic, outgoing individual and have great communication skills, you will also need to be comfortable working inside or outside with a positive, proactive manner.

you will need to be friendly, reliable, and approachable and be able to use your common sense as well as your customer service skills to help people, ensuring events run smoothly.

you will:

provide a high standard of customer careensure the safety and crowd management of the racegoers/spectators entering and leaving the racecoursemonitor crowd dynamicsrespond to incidents and provide professional assistancecarry out body and bag searches (if applicable)demonstrate excellent communication skillspromote a "can-do" attitudedisplay exceptional time keeping, appearance, and be able to go the extra milewe welcome applications for this event steward position from candidates with experience in the following areas: steward, stewarding, events, safety, crowd control, customer service, security.
