an exciting opportunity for a bid writer to join a growing company who are looking to double their turnover over the next year.

the company work in the energy sector and are particularly busy within decarbonisation.

the company are looking for a candidate to join them in a bid writing position that will shortly turn into a bid manager position. as the company is growing so rapidly, they are looking for a person to join them who can have an impact in the growth of the bid department. you will have a hand in recruitment and development of the team, and eventually be managing the team and offering your experience to a team of bid writers.

experience in the energy/construction sector is ideal but not essential.

working closely with the senior business development management team and director, your duties will include:

managing the production of all company submissions including tender quality proposals, pre-qualification proposals, expression of interest proposals and customer information documentssupport the procurement process by assisting as required with reality checks, interviews and presentations and provision of market intelligencedevelop a bid strategy to achieve an excellent success rate for company bids by identifying winning themesgather and develop information relating to specific tenders, projects of interest, long term opportunities and market procurement developmentsidentify and suggest actions relating to new procurement and delivery methodsset up/maintain best practice library of company submissions, competitor information, performance case studies, procurement/market developments/success/conversion ratesprovide information as required to the client's procurement knowledge centreprovide efficient feedback to the business development and marketing manager as requiredto develop a bid strategy to achieve an excellent success rate for company bids by identifying winning themes
