Packaging operator - united states, salisbury
adecco is hiring for a packaging operator in salisbury, md starting at 17.25/hour. the schedule for this shift is 7am-4pm, monday through friday.
as a packaging operator you will be responsible for:
• the accurate, fast-paced, picking of customer orders assuring the correct item, lot number, and quantity are assembled to meet the customer order requirements.
• the preparation of orders for shipment in a customer-friendly manner. this may include the accurate checking of each carton and the packaging of all materials into boxes to assure all products meet zoetis standards before being shipped
• ability to follow department sops
• compliance with quality standards & environmental, health and safety regulations
education and experience:
• high school diploma or equivalent
• basic computer skills
• minimum of two years experience in a general warehousing or manufacturing environment
• good attendance record and a commitment to working as part of a team
• must be able to lift 40 lbs
