Furniture delivery driver - united kingdom, rayleigh, essex
delivery driver required.
we are recruiting a part time delivery driver for our furniture shop in reyleigh. previous experience with delivering is required and ideally with large items of furniture.
the role is part time, usually or two days a week and the hours are 9:30- 5:30.
the job role will include;
loading the van in the morning
ensuring the load is secured and protected
delivering to each customer and ensuring the items are delivered to the required room.
assembly of furniture where required. this is basic assembly of beds, sofas and dining tables etc.
ensuring good time is kept and updating future deliveries/ the shop and customers if you are running late.
keeping a good attitude toward our customers and giving feedback where required.
working well with our current delivery helper.
ensure the van is, empty, secure and ready for the next days delivery at the end of each shift.
what is required;
full uk driving licence
van driving experience
previous delivery experience (ideally with furniture).
good attitude and willingness to enjoy the role.
