Cook/chef for care home - united kingdom, ferndown, dorset
we are seeking a passionate, responsible and keen cook to join our team within our residential care home setting.
we are driven in our pursuit for excellence in everything we do here at samily care, catering for a wide range of individuals, we develop seasonal menus using locally sourced fresh produce. fresh cakes and pastries are baked daily for the afternoon tea and every mealtime is an excuse for us all to come together and enjoy the highlights of the day!
the right applicant will have an excellent eye for detail and will have a proven track record in producing fresh food. baking experience is definitely preferred and an excellent understanding of food safety is essential. working in conjunction with the head chef you will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen!
excellent training and support is made available to you, ensuring you are kept unto date with all the requirements of this role, including catering for special diets. we off competitive rates of pay, "nest" pension scheme and the opportunity to work with an outstanding team already in place who really cares for what we do.
