monday – friday, 8:30 am – 5:30pm (with 1-hour lunch break)

opportunity for overtime and saturday mornings

starting salary £12.75 p/h, negotiable dependent on experience

in this role, your main responsibilities will include:

mot testing (ideally class 4 and 7 - with class 5 being of benefit) general servicing and repairs (cambelt replacement, clutch fitting etc) tyre-fitting and parts-ordering vehicle repairs, including fault finding and diagnostics

being a self-starter is key.

our client is looking for someone who’s a good communicator and works well using their own initiative.

a full driving licence is essential.

the ideal mechanic:

has previous experience in a similar role. is flexible, available to work overtime and saturday mornings when required. has strong attention to detail and works to high standard of cleanliness. is a good communicator, able to interact well with clients and team-mates.
