we’re caring comes 1st, a domiciliary (home-care) care service in bristol and we provide a range of care and support services for elderly and disabled service users.

we’re seeking to recruit some great new care workers; people with the right values and attitude to work in our domiciliary care service – could this be you?

our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right attitude and behaviours to match our own! you don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications to get started – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care worker.

the duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. our service users are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such.

duties may include:

assisting with personal hygiene and bathing
support with shopping, meal planning and preparation
light domestic tasks and general household duties
assisting with prescribed medication
supporting service users to be independent and provide companionship

skills/experience:

driving licence and own vehicle essential
experience in caring for others preferable, however full training arranged
caring and compassionate nature
patient and empathetic
strong communication skills
reliable, committed and professional
flexible to work alternative weekends

shift patterns:

there is a range of different shift patterns available to fit in with other commitments you may already have.

monday - sunday (7 am - 4 pm or 4 pm - 10 pm)

benefits include:

very competitive pay rates:
7 am - 4 pm weekday = £11 per hour, weekend £12
4 pm - 10 pm weekday = £11.50, weekend £12.50
guaranteed contracted hours
paid mileage at 40p per mile
enhanced bank holidays pay (double pay)
28 days paid holiday (pro-rata)
full, on-going support from your service manager
