Marketing manager £40,000-£45,000 p/a doe - united kingdom, musselburgh, east lothian

an exciting opportunity for an innovative and experienced individual to make a significant impact with a successful and growing family business operating in the uk cleaning sector.

it is anticipated that the post-holder will influence the job purpose by:

- rapidly climbing the learning curve related to products, sectors, and customers, and continually developing the company's knowledge base in these areas

- developing and executing a credible marketing and brand strategy in line with the overall company growth plan objectives, based on detailed sector analysis, forecasting, and commercial budgets (with supporting business cases)

- successfully promote our digital solutions to target sectors through marketing channels, activities and presentations

- developing a credible digital content strategy to manage and plan website content and our online community platform

- growing and developing our brand values within key sectors

- contributing positively to the company's sales efforts

- managing content creation, including the production of product, training and informational videos

- reviewing, analysing and improving the 'customer journey'

- developing and executing a credible comms strategy to increase customer engagement

- analysing data to support strategic decisions

- providing role-model leadership that reflects the company's values and impacts positively on the performance of individual team members and throughout the organisation

- managing brand and marketing budgets to deliver maximum effectiveness

must haves:

- ba or bsc degree in marketing or a related discipline

- 5+ years' experience in a leading sales and brand/marketing position with a track record of successfully generating leads and supporting customer growth & retention, within a b2b context

- ability to understand and interpret customer segmentation and analysis

- inspirational leader with excellent management and team development skills

- excellent communication and written skills including copywriting

- good understanding of website optimisation, seo and email marketing aligned with content optimisation strategies
