our wonderful behavioral health facility is hiring an experienced ur director. this person will supervise s and coordinate the utilization review coordinators and their job functions for optimal customer satisfaction, resource utilization, and optimize reimbursement for facility. develops, manages, and directs the utilization management programs in a service area or a medical center. develops and manages programs that emphasize appropriate admissions as well as concurrent and retrospective review of care.
qualifications:
education/training:
rn or master’s degree in behavioral health field (e.g. counseling, psychology, or social work)
experience:
at least 5 years’ experience in a psychiatric setting as counselor and/or nurse.
two years supervisory or management experience.
licensure/certification:
