Material handler - united states, springfield (massachusetts)

adecco is currently assisting a local client in recruiting for material handlers in fall river ma.  these material handler roles are temp to permanent hire opportunities, with starting pay rates of $17.00-$19.50 per hour depending on experience. these are for 2nd shift opportunities with hours of 3:00pm   -12:00am  with opportunities for overtime also! for instant consideration for these positions, apply now

responsibilities:

delivering material to department locations.

handle requests for reels and corrugated materials.

pick-up finished goods from departments, scan and put away.

loading / unloading shipping trucks and assist in picking sales orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

requirements:

high school diploma or equivalent required.

3+ years' experience working in a warehouse environment required.

basic it skills.

must be able to operate a forklift, order picker, handheld rf scanner and motorized pallet jack.

high attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task.

must be able to successfully pass a reading comprehension and a math competency test.

must read, write and communicate in english as it relates to the job and safety regulations.

ability to follow detailed operating instructions.
