we are currently recruiting for a sous chef to join the kitchen brigade at this fantastic, recently refurbished dining pub. as sous chef you will assist the award-winning head chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.

the place

our client is a well-established country pub, full of character and recently completely refurbished under new ownership. using fresh seasonal ingredients, they are striving to create the ultimate gastro pub experience, from innovative, seasonal dishes to a fine selection of wines and beer in a friendly, laid-back environment. the owners have set their sights on achieving a michelin star and making the top 50 gastro pub list.

the perks

as sous chef you can expect the following:

a competitive salary of up to £45,000overtime paid over 52 hoursexcellent training, development and progression opportunities within the groupto join a new team under an established michelin star head chef who is well known in the industrystaff accommodation is available, although this is offsite so your own transport will be requiredthe person

the ideal sous chef will have the following:
