working as part of a small collaborative team you will need to be a full stack web developer delivering front-end custom websites, back-end solutions, bespoke web services, custom plugins, and api integration and or development. their primary cms of choice is wordpress and woocommerce, they also make use of magneto.

beyond the usual requirements, the chosen candidate will be given the opportunity to explore new techniques in the short-term scrolling 3d content controlled with gsap and embedding 3d content such as glb files. in the long term reviewing the use of ar and vr online. in the future, possibly even, 3d webgl.

main responsibilities:

- custom front and backend web development/design in wordpress/woocommerce and magneto

- bespoke web services, apps and plugin development

- api integration and development

- database development and architecture

- study design briefs and determine website scope and estimating

- liaising with hosting provider for server and website configuration

- regular website maintenance

- integrating caching services and cdn's

qualifications:

- gcse (or equivalent) c or above in english & maths

- degree (or equivalent) in web development

- ma in related fields (desired)

experience, skills and knowledge:
